Vinkeveen Lakes
Fishing on the Vinkeveen Lakes is a unique experience for sport and recreational anglers every time. This excellent fishing area is therefore the favorite spot for many enthusiasts, with Vinkestek Rentals as an ideal base. Fish species that are regularly caught in the Vinkeveen Lakes include carp, perch, pike, zander, roach, eel, and white fish.
The Vinkeveen Lakes consist of three lakes plus an adjacent polder area. With a strong north wind, you can fish well in the trenches on the South Lake or on the small lake. With a strong south or southwest wind, it is advisable to go fishing on the North Lake. In the polder area, you can fish well in any weather type.
Separate permit required
Unfortunately, the Vinkeveen Lakes are not covered by the Vispas, unless you are a member of the Algemene Weesperhengelaarsbond (AWHB). If you are not a member of this angling association, you need a separate permit for fishing on the Vinkeveen Lakes.
You can choose from permits for a day or a week. The AWHB also offers a permit for a year. Night fishing is only allowed with a special permit, which is also issued by the AWHB. All permits can be purchased at Vinkestek Rentals. The permits do not apply to areas where signs indicate that fishing is prohibited.

Also good to know
It is not allowed to clean fish in and around all accommodations of Vinkestek Rentals. Sport anglers release their catch back into the water; ‘catch and release’ is our motto too. If you still want to take your catch with you, please ask us where you can clean the fish.
Nice discounts
From September 15 to April 1, we offer nice discounts on the rental of our boats in combination with one of our accommodations. You can also bring your own boat and moor it at the accommodation you rent from Vinkestek Rentals. We have special rates for these moorings. With each boat you rent from us, you get a map of the Vinkeveen Lakes with the necessary explanation, so you have a good overview of the nature and water sports area.
