Vinkestek Rentals
To explore the Vinkeveen Lakes and the beautiful surroundings, to fish, swim and sunbathe on one of the sandy islands, or simply to spend a wonderful day on the water, you can also rent one of our boats at Vinkestek Rentals.
Our boats are available for rent for a minimum of 2 hours. A rented boat can be used from 9:00 AM and must be returned empty and broom-clean by 6:00 PM. So by 6:00 PM, the boat must be back at the shore, empty and tidied up, just as you received it. Otherwise, the landlord may charge €17.50 cleaning costs. If the boat is not returned by 6:00 PM, half the daily rate will be charged. If it is not back by 6:30 PM, the Police will be notified. The boat may not leave the Vinkeveen Lakes without permission from Vinkestek Rentals. You will receive a signed proof for the lock keeper.
You can park one car at our parking lot. If you come with multiple cars, we request that you meet at the A2 Carpool area in Abcoude or Vinkeveen. From there, you can come to Vinkestek Rentals with one car. If you prefer not to do this, you can also check if there is space on Sandy Island 4 or along the road.

If you do not return the rented boat neatly, not in the same condition as when you picked it up from us, we will charge you €17.50 cleaning costs. If you want to bring a dog on board, you must cover the cushions. For the dog, we charge an extra €7.50.
Reservation
For the possibilities of our boat rental, send us an email or call us at 0031 (0)6 – 200 707 25. Our boats are available for rent for a minimum of 2 hours. On sunny and warm days, it is more convenient to call, then we can give you an immediate answer. When you reserve a boat, we will ask a number of questions in advance.
In high season, our boats are usually ready for use. In the pre- and post-season, it is not self-evident that the boats are ready for use, and it may also be that the boats are in winter storage for maintenance.
Because we are not always present, we advise you to inquire and reserve in advance!
Permit
A fishing permit – for a day or week – is also available at Vinkestek Rentals.
Boating Rules
At Vinkestek Verhuur, we follow a set of boating rules that we’d like to share with you in advance.
Boating Rules
01.
If you notice any damage or malfunction when starting your rental, please report it to the rental company.
02.
You must be 18 years or older to rent a boat from us.
03.
You should already have some experience with how an engine works and how to operate a motorboat. You must be familiar with boating rules.
04.
Please avoid causing noise disturbances (such as loud music) or any other nuisance.
05.
Watch your wake. Even at low speed, your boat can create waves that disturb others!
06.
You may travel at a maximum of 9 km/h on open water. Elsewhere, the speed limit is 6 km/h. Again, it’s not just about your speed — pay attention to the waves you leave behind.
07.
As the captain of a motorboat, the same rules apply as in traffic: no alcohol or drugs while driving! You may lose your driving license if caught under the influence.
08.
In case of extreme weather, cancellations are allowed free of charge. If you book well in advance, please confirm about three days ahead whether you wish to proceed with the rental. The rental company may also decide not to rent boats in bad weather.
09.
We may ask for a deposit when you reserve a boat.
10.
If you rent the boat for multiple days and go out during dusk or darkness, you must provide your own lighting.
11.
Dogs are allowed on board. If your boat has seats with cushions, please cover them. A surcharge of €7.50 applies for bringing a dog.
12.
The boat must be returned clean and tidy before 6:00 PM. If there's no cleaning cloth in the boat, feel free to ask for one. You can also request a cleaning service at the start of the rental for €17.50.
13.
You may park one car per boat with us. If you come with more vehicles, please use the carpool parking areas. If you're early, you might find extra parking along the road or at Zandeiland 4.
14.
Upon return, the rental company may inspect the boat, ropes, and motor. If there’s damage or fishing line in the motor, please report this.
15.
If something happens during your trip, you can reach us at 06 - 200 707 25. If there's no answer, please leave a message with your phone number and we will call you back as soon as possible.
